about us

Harmer Architecture is a Melbourne based  architectural design practice. The primary interest of the practice is designing public spaces. Our office has extensive capability in the design of a wide range of public facilities that include churches, theatres, workplace environments, teaching and learning environments and spaces for arts and culture.

Harmer Architecture has completed a number of projects for the universities of Victoria, including The Australian Catholic, Melbourne, Monash, LaTrobe and Victoria Universities.

Harmer Architecture is also highly regarded in the world of performing arts and have created three major venues in regional Victoria and Melbourne at Wangaratta, Sale and Preston, working in association with Arts Victoria and local government.

The practice has completed over twenty-five church projects for the Uniting, Anglican and Catholic Churches, a number of which have involved working in association with Heritage Victoria.
