The new performing arts centre was completed in 2009 and includes a 530 seat theatre and flat floor function room for up to 570 people. The centre frontage to Ovens Street includes Centre management, Conference room and a Café and Bar with external deck and outlook to the Art Gallery and Cathedral.
 
The WPAC provides a new community focus in the civic precinct of Wangaratta.  The core of the design is the new interior public space that links Ford Street through to the existing historic Art Gallery and Ovens Street.
